If you wish to take a course which in not mentioned on this list, you must obtain the agreement of the Professor.

Erasmus Belgica students have access to all of the Department's courses.

Compulsory courses

Two courses are also specifically dedicated to exchange students and must be compulsorily registered on their programme. They enable exchange students to understand Belgian law :

Learning agreement

During the application process, you have registered your preliminary study programme. This study programme has been temporarily approved by our university and it is subject to possible adjustments when you arrive in Liège (timetable adjustments, course changes,...)
When you arrive in Liège, you will also have the opportunity to test the courses before your final registration and to modify your study programme accordingly.
If you would like to make some changes to your learning agreement, please contact Mrs Nathalie Vrancken. Bring your learning agreement and she will help you with the requested changes.

iconeAttention It is only possible to modify your course programme until :

- October 8 (1st semester) = LAST DAY : NO MODIFICATION AFTER THIS DATE !

- February 23 (2nd semester) = AT THE LATEST ! - No modification will be accepted after theses dates

Credits and validation

Your course programme must be drawn up in agreement with your institution of origin.

We ask exchange students to take a minimum of ECTS credits, in other words :
  • A stay of one semester: 20 ECTS credits
  • A stay of one year: 40 ECTS credits (if 5 ECTS credits are for the French language course) or 45 ECTS credits (if 10 credits are for the French language course)

For your information: Belgian students follow 60 ECTS credits per year (30 per semester). We strongly recommend you not to overtake this limit.
